We are SO excited to bring you some before and (more importantly) after photos of a bathroom remodel we completed in early 2020. When we first met with this set of clients, we were starting to move away from renovations.
However, their desired timeline fit really well with our build schedule (that changed when COVID hit, and we managed fine, but that’s another story for a different time!). And the clients had such a laid back and easy going personality that we couldn’t say no!
At our first site visit, we fell in love with the existing wood trim and were delighted that the clients wanted to keep it. The design decision was to keep everything white and bright to balance the warmth of the timber, and go with black fixtures to provide some contrast.
We kept their existing cabinetry and sinks, but just painted them Sherwin Williams Pure White (same as the walls) and replaced the hardware and countertops.
The master bathroom before, had a lot of space to work with, but was dark and dated.
After, it was bright and airy, and using a glass shower enclosure made the entire space feel more open.
The best part of this remodel was the new free standing tub. It looked so luxurious and the matte black floor mounted filler elevated this bathroom to a whole new level of sophistication.
